The lagoon was really nice and I would definitely be coming back to that spot in the future. Unfortunately, experience with kiting instructor was really bad. Rob was not particularly enthusiastic about water and weather (imagine this...). He kept complaining about the wind (which was really weak, but that's the nature of the sport and you cannot control it. Just make the most of it. Instead of maybe going through self-rescue, or teach me how to deal with the kite in weaker wind conditions, he gave up and completely put me off. I would not recommend him unless you want to be shouted at throughout the class. Again, it was not shouting because it was windy! :-) That's different. Accommodation at the schoolhouse was very poor and requires some serious upgrade. You could smell damp in every room. Francois was really friendly, kept checking on us and advising on the weather. I would love to come back to the spot in the future, and take a few lessons with the school, but will definitely choose an alternative accommodation.
