The windy season in Mauritius is between June and November. A lot of people really enjoy the month of September through November because it is a transition period between winter and summer and it is the best time to visit the island for warmer and drier weather. In fact, it is generally the both months with the least rain, especially along the west coast where sunny weather is almost guaranteed. Average high temperature in Mauritius is 25 to 30ºC in September/October/November, with things cooling to a pleasant 20 to 25ºC at night on the coast. The sea temperature varies between 22 & 24ºC at this period. A lycra or shorty wetsuit 1.5-3mm is recommended as well as neoprene boots to protect your feet from shells in the water. Dominant wind is from the South East (SE) and usually very constant. The wind sometimes blows from the east, which brings more gusty and unstable winds at the kite spot Le Morne. This can be a great opportunity for us to explore and discover other spots without any wind shadow. Average wind speeds are between 12 to 25 knots with wind 70% of the days.

This holiday kiting tour will be an opportunity for you to discover what Mauritius has to offer: food, people and culture, green landscapes and colourful lagoons. Coaching and Lessons

Beginner, intermediate and advanced riders welcome! The easy, shallow lagoons offer amazing conditions for beginner riders to learn and progress safely in this amazing sport. The flat conditions and wave spots give everyone the opportunity to progress and improve and bring their skills to a new level. We are always on the spot and help assist you while kiting.

If you like to improve your skills, we do provide 1 to 1 intensive coaching with radio.

Downwinders

We provide to organize downwinders with boat assistance. What an amazing way to explore the coast and progress your riding without having to worry about riding upwind! *not included as we need a couple of guests

Other Activities

Explore more on and off the water with hikes, expeditions, snorkelling, SUP and surfing.

We are easy going, love Kitesurfing and can't wait to share our passion with you. Our team is a mix of kite instructors and hosts to make your stay great.

We have chosen Mauritian style and cosy accommodation. We are going to stay in a private & familial residences with great comfort standards and not in a big hotels. A daily healthy join-in-breakfast we all prepare together. Once a week we will have one dinner provided and cooked by local chef.

I started Kitesurfing in 2011 and still LOVE it!!! My whole life is surrounded by Water - water liquid style and frozen style!!! And a good cup of coffee in the morning. A little more than 20 years ago my journey in tourism began. My passion - the best vacation for you. In the meantime I brought my hobby and my learned profession together and founded my own kite travel label. And I have obtained the kitesurfing instructor license. Now, I am organizing kite travels to your favorite kitedestination. While we travel togehter this amazing spots I love to teach you kitesurfing.
