It’s the ideal place to take it easy and enjoy the healthy lifestyle with friends and family. The wind conditions in the north of Fuerteventura are very steady and the wind strength is moderate. The regular trade winds are friendly for beginners. The wind is quite constant most of the year; the trade winds from April to September guarantees almost daily suitable conditions for learning how to kiteboard, and from October to March the wind is usually also consistent, though a little less predictable. There are spots to find for all levels : Corralejo kitebeach, Cotillo lagoon for beginners and freestylers , Cotillo beach and seveal spots on the northshore for experienced waveriders. With our team of professional watersports athletes, we have developed a watersports center that offers an unequalled level of expertise in kitesurfing, surfing, foilboarding and standup paddling— making us the place of choice for those seeking freedom to choose and switch sports according their level, desires and weather conditions.
LineUp is a Test Center, which is different than a regular watersports school or rental shop, because our intention is to offer our customers a center where they can test the newest gear on the market at an affordable price. Our test center quiver is handpicked by our professional team of athletes, and is renewed every year, so that we can constantly offer the very latest and best watersports equipment to our clients. We have a large quiver with gear from the leading brands in the watersports industry. (F-One, Firewire).
We like to think of ourselves as your ocean-guide, taking you the spots where the conditions are best for your sport and level, always doing our best to give you the dream-session on the water; a day where you enjoy, learn—taking your skills to the next level— feel the adrenaline and go home exhausted and stoked!
Kitesurf lessons
At Line Up Pro Center we offer kite lessons of superior quality and safety. We have highly qualified and experienced teachers, hand-picked by our test center´s founder Manu Taub. Manu is himself a professional kiteboarder who holds 2 world titles in the kite-speed discipline.
During lessons you have radio-contact with your instructor through your helmet, giving you the extra security and guidance necessary to be able to relax and learn in stressfree conditions. Our kite school sets itself apart from many in that you learn kiting from a boat in deep water in the middle of the sea; this allows you the space and freedom to learn without interruption from other kiters or obstacles; no need to worry about getting dragged on the beach!
To learn kiteboarding, it is not just a question about the wind conditions, but it is equally important to have the appropriate water conditions; and at Lineup we optimise the time of your lessons by choosing the best wind conditions combined with the flattest water conditions available.
The kitelessons will last around 3 to 4 hours each (except for the refresh session). All equipment and transport to the spot is off course included. The first day you will learn some theory, safety, and how to control the kite on the beach. The following days, you will go in the water in our big comfortable zodiac. We have max 2 pupils per instructor, to make sure to have high quality coaching. While in the water, you and your instructor will be able to communicate at all time through a radio system in your helmet.
We have a big and fast Zodiac that allows us to reach comfortably the best possible sport. All our instructors are experienced; licensed by IKO. Personal attention from teacher: usually 1 teacher per 2 students gives you a lot of one on one time with your instructor, ensuring you fast progression.
Surf lessons
Our surf course lasts about 4 hours per day (with drive to the beach, warmup and lots of time in the water). We meet at our surf school either in the morning or the early afternoon (depending on the tides and weather conditions) - then our instructor take the group to the beaches best suited for their level. We keep the groups as small as possible (max. 5 students per instructor), so everybody gets lots of personal attention, and will progress a maximum in a minimum of time.
For the beginners course, the instructor takes you to easy beach breaks where you will go in the whitewater first and practice standing up and ride broken waves. You might also be able to paddle out and catch unbroken green waves soon! We use equipment specifically made for beginner surfers, to help them progress quickly and safely.
The intermediate cours is for surfers who already know how to paddle out and catch a green wave. We will take you to some more challenging waves and some of the reef breaks on the North Shore with mellow green waves.You will learn to make your first turns and basic maneuvers as well as the parallel riding of green waves.
Our instructors all have a lot of experience and passion for the sport and they'll make sure you have a good time and improve a lot!
