If there is such a thing as the ultimate spot – Los Roques is for sure amongst the hot contenders. Sandbanks in the middle of the sea, between the islands you will find lovely infinite flat water lagoons, while on the east side of the archipelago you even can find medium size waves. Almost everyday the wind comes gently from the east and is good for mostly 10m to 12m kites. The typical day in Los Roques starts in the morning with gently trade winds and clear blue sky. During the midmorning, the wind brings a few clouds over the island and this is the moment when the wind starts blowing. Due to the long open distance, the wind is very stable and reliable.

Los Roques is a really unique place. It seems like the gods who created Los Roques had already kitesurfing in mind. There are 42 little island in this archipelago and at least 8 amazing spots. On the main island Grand Roque you find a small town with an airstrip, most of the other island have only a few or no inhabitants at all. Los Roques does officially belong to Venezuela - but it's a remote place and a whole different world, and an absolutely safe place to go. Turquoise water colors, pure white sands and almost every day steady pumping winds from the east are waiting - only for you!
Join us on a Kite Cruise in Los Roques. We offer you and your kitesurfing friends to take part in the most cruise trip in the kitesurfing world. Cruise with us from island to island and discover this little piece of paradise. We customize the trip to your needs and wishes, and book national flights and hotels if necessary.
Los Roques has a little kitesurfing shack on a lonely little Island next to Grand Roque (the main Island). Besides that, there is no surf infrastructure at all. For our trips we always carry our best kites and boards in various sizes and different styles. On demand we can arrange with exactly the equipment you need. Small repairs and maintaining the equipment we are able to do along the way.
The crew on board takes care of everything. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included, as well as safety boat and support on the water.

In order to reach Los Roques you have to fly via Caracas. But no worries: We're here to arrange everything for you from there - booking the domnestic flight to Grand Roque and (if needed) a save place to stay overnight near to the airport of Caracas including airport pickup and drop-off. Despite the difficult situation in mainland Venezuela, this trip is a save one. Los Roques is a peaceful little paradise - and the transfer through Caracas airport and an pre-arranged overnight stay is nothing to worry about either.
Depending on the dates and the group size, different boats may be used: **Sailing Boat Soltana:** This spacious and comfortable sailing boat offers 4 cabins - 3 for the guests, one for the crew (in case you're a group of 7 or 8 guests, then the crew could sleep on deck). **Leopard46 Catamaran (not available in 2017):** The 4 guest cabins and spacious interior make the Leopard46 yacht an excellent choice for a party of eight. The main cabin features a full entertainment center, plush settees, and large dining table. The guest staterooms are bright and airy with queen-size beds, plenty of storage space, and en suite lavatories and stall showers.

Los Roques - heaven on earth does exist!! Just came back from probably the best holiday of my life... When booking this trip via bstoked with Daniel, our host and kite teacher, I started dreaming of how cool it would be - up to a point where I had to stop myself as I was getting a bit "scared" that the experience might not live up to my expectations - but then... All my expectations were totally exceeded! I really don't know where to start - as everything was outstanding. Travelling to Los Roques in our literally private plane with the whole group was already superfun and it got better and better from there. The boat Sula Sula was great and the crew (Fernando and Veroniqua) were simply the best. We were taken care of from morning till evening. Once on the boat we were blessed to experience possibly some of the most beautiful spots on this planet and - even better - to kite there all by ourselves!! It felt unreal - perfect kite spots with perfect wind and water conditions and only the 6 of us kiting there!!! And we got this "treatment" every day throught the whole journey.... During the whole time we were lucky to get the best and freshest seafood prepared for us in Michelin Star quality... And we had lots of fun on board killing the odd cuba libre every evening ;-) Last but not least - this experience would not have been so perfect without Daniel. He had organizer everything perfectly but always in a very relaxed manner. Everything was taken care of but never felt "over-organized". Him being an outstanding kiter and kite-teacher does not even need to be mentioned, him being superfun and a truly nice guy should be mentioned though. This is why this was only my first kitesurfing trip with him as organizer - more definitively to come. And I will come back to Los Roques, now that I have found out that paradise exists...
Los Roques was a wonderful place to visit. Except for one single day we had good wind for at least a kite number 12 and more than half of those days we had enough power for a number 9. The landscape is unforgetable and the spots were never crowded, actually in some places we were alone. Our captain Fernando at Sula Sula boat is very knowledgeable in that region wich made our experience even richer with his sailing skills and all the local information he provided about history, local fauna and showing us the right places to snorkel or to enjoy a wonderful sunset. Daniel is an experienced kitesurfer and a good fellow that is always ready to assist you whenever you need his help. As a good trip organizer he knows the right people to make our experience safe above everything in both places we were, wich included Coche Island, an amazing flat water spot where we went just before our official hired tour.
